As we know that SBI has announced the vacancies of PO Post. This year, the SBI PO exam will be for 2313 posts. The SBI PO exam will be online and it will be held in two phases. 1) Preliminary Exam and Main Exam.
Preliminary exam will be four dates, 29 & 30 April and 6-7 May 2017. The candidates who will qualify the Preliminary (Pre) exam, will appear in Main Exam.
The Main exam will be conducted on 4th June 2017. Those quality the main exam, will be called for Group Exercises and Interview. The final result of SBI PO Recruitment 2017 will be declared on 5th August 2017.
As per the SBI PO Exam Pattern 2017, the Pre exam will be Objective type and it will be of 100 marks. In this exam, there will be three sections and they are- Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and English.
The Main exam will also be objective type and it will be 200 marks. In this a descriptive test will be and it will carry 50 marks. The descriptive test will be evaluated if and only if candidates get the qualifying scores in the objective tests. Group Exercises will carry 30 marks and interview will be of 20 marks. The final merit will be based on the marks obtained in the main exam, interview and group exercises.

- SBI PO Preliminary Exam will be objective type, candidates would choose one correct option out of given four options.
- The maximum marks is 100 and total time will be 60 minutes or 1 hour.
- 1 mark for correct answer and -¼ marks (Negative marks) will be given for incorrect answer.
- Candidates need to clear sectional cut off.
The ones who qualify this exam, will be called for SBI PO Main Exam.

- SBI PO Main exam 2017 will be objective types and it will carry 200 marks.
- The total time will given 180 Minutes or 3 Hours.
- Every section will have separate time.
- For every correct answer, candidate will awarded 1 mark and for every correct answer ¼ mark will be deducted.
After objective exam, there will be a descriptive exam. Let’s see the structure of Descriptive Exam Pattern. It will be 30 minutes and will carry the 50 marks. In this section, letter writing and essay writing will be done. Candidates have to write them in English Language only. This exam will be evaluated only if candidates qualify the previous objective exam.
Now, after some days of conduction of main exam, Personal Interview and Group Exercises will occur. In recent announcement of SBI PO, Group Discussions are replaced by Group Exercises. Under Group exercises, a group of candidates will work together to perform an activity and it will be examined by assessors.
After this phase, Final result of SBI PO Recruitment 2017 will be out on 5th August 2017.
